Genius Korea Interview Series: Eugene Yi and Diane Quon
Earlier this week, the documentary The Rose: Come Back to Me had its world premiere at the esteemed Tribeca Film Festival in New York City. The film follows the journey of Korean rock group The Rose, from their humble beginnings busking on the streets of Hongdae to performing at Coachella, one of largest music festivals in the United States.
Just before its release, Genius Korea had the chance to ask director Eugene Yi and producer Diane Quon about the production process, what it was like working with The Rose on such a personal project, and so much more.
